16 local law enforcement officers complete CSI certification at NSU

(Tahlequah, Oklahoma) - The Northeastern State University College of Extended Learning recently awarded its first Crime Scene Investigation program certifications. Dignitaries from the State Highway Patrol division and Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation were present at the graduation.

NSU’s Crime Scene Investigation Certificate is accredited by the Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training. This hands-on program is designed for current law enforcement officers who would like to further develop their understanding, skills and expertise as it relates to crime scene investigations.

There were 16 local law enforcement officers, including four NSU officers, who completed 128 hours of intensive, blended online and in-person training to earn this certificate.
