Tenth Annual Emerald Ball to Honor NSU Alumni

TAHLEQUAH Start the holidays in style with an evening filled with good cheer and good friends, and join Northeastern State University to recognize the accomplishments of the 2007 NSU Alumni Association Honorees at the 10th Annual Emerald Ball, set for Saturday, Dec. 1 at 6:30 p.m. in the University Center Senator Herb Rozell Ballroom.

Tickets are still available for the annual event, which honors Northeasterns outstanding alumni. This years honorees include Teresa Miller (73, 75), Distinguished Alumnus; Phillip Driskill (76), Distinguished Alumnus; Linda Hasler-Reid (94), Outstanding Young Alumnus; and Dr. Jack (51) and Zula Belle Dobbins (51) (posthumously), Presidents Award for Community Service.

The black tie optional affair starts at 6:30 p.m., with an evening of dinner, games, dancing and entertainment.

Funds raised from the event go to support the next generation of NSU students through scholarships and programs. Ticket prices are $50 if purchased by Tuesday, Nov. 27, and $60 at the door. For more information or to purchase tickets, contact the NSU Alumni Association at 918-458-2143.
