Visual Communications Classes Offered at NSUBA

BROKEN ARROW Have an interest in designing a web page to showcase the highlights of your career? Or maybe you want to create a website for your family. Northeastern State University Broken Arrow will be offering two classes to help develop web design and Adobe Photoshop skills beginning in January 2008.

Anyone interested in web design, photography or visual communications as a whole can enroll for Web Design I or Photoshop at NSUBA for the Spring 2008 semester.

The skills learned in this area are particularly useful for anyone with an interest advertising, marketing, public relations, event promotion and media, said Bobby Martin, associate professor of Art at NSU. In the Internet age, it has become increasingly important for our students to learn skills necessary to provide content for new media outlets.

Students in Web Design I will learn the concept and techniques of building effective web pages. In Photoshop, students will learn the fundamentals of the Adobe software program and its use in the manipulation of digital images.

For more information on these classes, contact Bobby Martin at 918-444-2712.
