NSU Students Win First Place At Psychology Convention

TAHLEQUAH Northeastern State University students Alissa Baker-Oglesbee, Alisha Powell and Shannon Evans were recently awarded first place for their poster presentation at the 28th Annual Great Plains Students Psychology Convention March 14-15 at Emporia, Kansas.

Their poster presentations were titled Exploring Academic Integrity: Beliefs and Attitudes toward Academic Dishonesty among University Students and The Relationship between Hardiness and Cheating in College. Dr. Sharon Roberts of the NSU Department of Psychology and Counseling served as their faculty sponsor.

Alissa Baker-Oglesbee, Jay senior, Alisha Powell, Sallisaw senior, and Shannon Evans, Fort Gibson senior, all received first Place awards in their poster sessions for both presentations.
