NSU Faculty, Student Travel to Thailand

TAHLEQUAH Northeastern State University faculty members Dr. Susan Frusher, Dr. Rene Cambiano, and Master of Education in Teaching graduate student Jackie Bonner presented at a conference, conducted a workshop, and facilitated a university partnership in Thailand from March 5-17.
In Bangkok, they gave a presentation about overcoming the obstacles of distance learning environments at an international Education and Development Conference. After the conference, Frusher, Cambiano and Bonner conducted a workshop about action research and instructional strategies at Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna (RMUTL) in Chiang Mai.
Additionally, they established a working relationship to provide pedagogical skills for the teachers at RMULT and to develop a foreign-exchange program between students and faculty from both universities.
