Tour Greece with the NSU College of Liberal ArtsApplications for Northeastern State University-s 2005 Literary Summer Tour are now being accepted. Sponsored by the NSU Living Literature Center, the tour runs June 9 through June 22, 2005. The trip is open to NSU students, faculty, staff, alums, and members of the community and participants can earn college credit in Humanities, Art (both undergraduate), and English (undergraduate/graduate).
This year-s trip begins with a visit to both Athens and the Grecian Isles where participants will enjoy the Parthenon, Archaeological Museum and Delphi. Next, it-s a cruise of some of the best Greek Islands: the picturesque Santorini; Crete, one of the largest of the Greek islands; Patmos, Rhodes, and Mykonos. The trip also includes a visit to Ephesus, an ancient city in western Turkey. The adventure concludes with a visit to Mycenae, the home of the first Olympics.

The cost for the 2005 Summer Liberal Arts Tour is approximately $2400 (not including tuition), which includes round-trip airfare, eight overnight stays (11 with extension) in hotels with private bathrooms and cruise cabin accommodations, complete European breakfast and dinner daily (three meals on the cruise), full-time bilingual tour director, several sightseeing tours led by licensed local guides, visits to special attractions, walking tours, sightseeing briefing, and orientation tour.
