NSU Unveils RiverHawk Shoppe

TAHLEQUAH Northeastern State University held a ribbon cutting for the RiverHawk Shoppe, the newly renamed campus bookstore located in the University Center.

NSU students, faculty and staff were given the opportunity to suggest and vote on a new name for the bookstore after the RiverHawks mascot was unveiled last year.

Bookstore Manager Rob Taylor, Shanna Smethers, Interim President Kim Cherry, and Director of Auxiliary Services John Wichser cut the ribbon to commemorate the opening of the RiverHawk Shoppe. Similar ceremonies also took place at the campus bookstores in Muskogee and Broken Arrow.
