NSU Moves To Summer Hours

NSU Moves To Summer Hours

TAHLEQUAH Beginning June 9, Northeastern State University will implement summer hours for many offices on campus.

Our summer work-week schedule will allow NSU employees more flexibility and time to spend with family and friends, and conserve energy as well, said Interim President Kim Cherry. Individual offices that choose to implement summer hours will have a notice posted indicating the change.

The schedule allows offices on campus to institute a 4.5-day workweek. Employees report for work from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., but public service hours will be 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to noon on Friday through August 1.

Essential campus services such as Campus Police, designated Physical Plant staff, Summer Conference Staff and other departments may be assigned alternative hours based on job responsibilities. To ensure an office is open on Friday afternoons, patrons are encouraged to call ahead.
