Daniel to Present Voice Recital

TAHLEQUAH Robert Daniel, tenor, will present a voice recital on Sunday, Aug. 10 at 2 p.m. in the Northeastern State University Jazz Lab. He will be accompanied by pianist Judy Young. The recital is open to the public with no admission charged. Daniel is an associate professor of Music in the NSU Music Department, where he teaches voice and related courses.
The recital will feature the music of Handel, Debussy, Beethoven, Vaughan Williams and selected sacred pieces including Simple Gifts,
Rock of Ages,
and Hes Got the Whole World n His Hands.
Daniels daughter, Charlotte, a flute performance major at Oklahoma State University, will also appear in the recital. They will perform Vaughan Williams songs of William Blake.
