Tickets Now On Sale for Northeasterns 11th Annual Emerald Ball
TAHLEQUAH Honor the accomplishments of Northeastern State Universitys outstanding alumni and help support the next generation during the 11th Annual Emerald Ball. Tickets are now on sale for the prestigious event, which is slated for Saturday, Dec. 6. The black tie optional affair starts at 6:30 p.m. in the University Center Senator Herb Rozell Ballroom, and features an evening of dinner, games, dancing and entertainment.
This year the NSU Alumni Association will honor Venture Drilling Supply Company owner Michele McCarthy (76, 77), Distinguished Alumnus; Haskell Indian Nations University president Dr. Linda Sue Warner (70), Distinguished Alumnus; Bios Corporation founder Eddie Miller (89), Outstanding Young Alumnus; and former Cherokee Nation Principal Chief Wilma Mankiller, Presidents Award for Community Service.
Funds raised from the event go to support the next generation of NSU students through scholarships and programs. Ticket prices are $75 if purchased by Tuesday, Dec. 2, and $85 at the door. For more information or to purchase tickets, contact the NSU Alumni Association at 918-458-2143.
