It's "Lights On" at Northeastern State University - Dec. 4

TAHLEQUAH Join Northeastern State University for the 16th annual "Lights On" Ceremony, Thursday, Dec. 4. The time-honored holiday event begins at 5:30 p.m. and features area choirs, a traditional Christmas reading, and the lighting of NSU's historic Seminary Hall.

Special guests for the ceremony include NSU President Dr. Don Betz and his wife Susanne, Tahlequah Mayor Ken Purdy, and the jolly elf himself.

As a special treat, children can take a picture with Santa; give him their wish list; and get a free personalized ornament and stocking. T.J. Spears & the River City Players, as well as members from the Greenwood Elementary and Cherokee Elementary Choirs will perform songs of the holiday season.
