The Cherokee Connection Offers Look At Tribal Programs

TAHLEQUAH The Northeastern State University Office of Career Services and the Center for Tribal Studies have partnered with the Cherokee Nation to offer students the opportunity to learn about employment opportunities.

The Cherokee Connection will be held Wednesday, Sept. 10 from 8:30 a.m. to noon in the NSU NET Lab Auditorium. The informational event will provide students and faculty with the opportunity to learn about internships, tribal studies and other opportunities within the Cherokee Nation.

Featured speakers at the event include Bryan Collins, CEO of Cherokee Nation Industries, Brad Carson, CEO of Cherokee Nation Businesses, Molly Jarvis, vice president of Marketing and Sales with Cherokee Nation Enterprises, and Chad Smith, principal chief of the Cherokee Nation.

Participants will have a chance to win a stay at the Cherokee Resort in Catoosa.
