NSUBA presents Fall 2015 Biology and Chemistry Seminar Series

(Broken Arrow, Okla.)-- The Fall 2015 Biology and Chemistry Series at the Northeastern State University Broken Arrow campus kicks offSept. 25.

Presented by the NSU College of Science & Health Professions and arranged by Dr. Sapna Das-Bradoo, assistant professor of molecular biology, the series includes speakers with topics of interest in three different areas of study. The upcoming schedule is as follows:

Sept. 25- Modulation of Neuroinflammatory Signaling, presented by Dr. Randall L. Davis, representing the Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences. This will be hosted by NSU faculty member, Dr. Sapna Das-Bradoo.

Oct. 23-Using Computational Technologies to Improve the Quality of Life for Wheelchair Users, presented by Dr. Jicheng Fu, representing the University of Central Oklahoma. This will be hosted by NSU faculty member, Dr. Kevin Wang.

Nov. 20- Mechanisms Underlying the Sexually Dimorphic Effects of Early Life Stress on Pain Perception in Adulthood, presented by Dawn K. Prusator, representing the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. This will be hosted by NSU faculty member, Dr. Sue Woods.

There is no charge to attend the seminar and events are open to all who wish to attend. Complimentary cookies and coffee will be provided.

Each one-hour lecture begins at10 a.m.at the NSU-Broken Arrow campus in the Administrative Services Building, Room 141 (Auditorium), 3100 E. New Orleans, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, 74014.
