NSU Presents I Love A Piano

TAHLEQUAH Take a nostalgic musical journey through seven decades of American history with Irving Berlins I Love A Piano on Thursday, Oct. 9 at 7:30 p.m. at the Northeastern State University Center for the Performing Arts.
Featuring the music of one of this countrys most prolific and beloved composers, I Love A Piano is the second show in the Sequoyah Institutes 23rd Annual Galaxy of Stars Series. The show is sponsored by Go Ye Village.
With six actors and over 60 of Berlins enduring and popular favorites, this spectacular show captures the spirit of America from the Ragtime rhythms of the early 20th century through the swinging sophistication of the 1920s and 30s, through the sentimental songs that inspired a nation during two world wars to the innocent optimism of the 1950s.
The show features times classics, such as White Christmas, God Bless America, Puttin On The Ritz and Theres No Business Like Show Business, that do more than define the music of a generation, they define the music of our country.
Tickets for Irving Berlins I Love A Piano are $20 for adults, $18 for NSU alumni, $16 for NSU employees, $14 for senior citizens, $12 for groups of 10 or more, $10 for students and children, and $5 for NSU students. To purchase tickets, contact the NSU Box Office at 918-458-2075.
