Teacher Fair Offers NSU Students Chance To Connect With Employers
TAHLEQUAH Finding a job and being hired in this economy is becoming harder for many people. The Northeastern State University Office of Career Services helping to ease the transition from student to employee by bringing employers to campus for the Education and Teacher Job Fair on Monday, April 20.
School districts from several states will be available for interview opportunities with NSU students and alumni in the University Center Sen. Herb Rozell Ballroom beginning at 10 a.m. with an open forum. During the open forum, students and alumni can discuss employment opportunities with school administrators and recruiters. Attendance at the open forum is required to interview in the afternoon.
NSU students have good classroom management skills, instruction skills and pretty good interpersonal skills, said John Harris, director of Human Resources for Tulsa Public Schools.
