Area Schools Compete at Oklahoma History Day
TAHLEQUAH Several are middle schools and high schools received awards in different events at Oklahoma History Day at Northeastern State University on April 7.
Eight schools participated in the regional competition which was held in the University Center. The theme for this years History Day was The Individual in History: Actions and Legacies.
It gives kids an opportunity to expand their minds, said Dr. Billy Joe Davis, professor of history.
The following winners get to go on to the state competition May 6.
