Hunt Family Fiddlers To Conduct Fiddle Workshop

TAHLEQUAH The Hunt Family Fiddlers will present a fiddle workshop on Saturday, May 2 from 5-6 p.m. at the Tahlequah High School Performing Arts Center choir room.

The workshop, sponsored by Northeastern State University and the Sequoyah Institute, is being held in conjunction with the conclusion of the 23rd Annual Galaxy of Stars Series.

The entire family, comprised of nine fiddlers, will be there to work with anyone who might have an interest in fiddling. The workshop is free and open to the public.

The Hunt Family Fiddlers will take the stage at the THS PAC at 7:30 p.m. on May 2. The Hunt Family Fiddlers will charm, captivate and entertain you with their unique performance that blends of Celtic, bluegrass, classical and pop music. This family of nine includes world ranked Irish step dancers and award winning fiddlers and singers.

From the moment they take the stage you will be blown away by the amount of talent in this family. Get ready for an evening of high-powered step dancing, fast fiddling, and vocal harmonies that will energize and inspire.
