NSU Science & Technology Seminar Series continues Oct. 21
(Tahlequah, Okla.)-- Dr. Robin Aupperle from the Laureate Institute for Brain Research in Tulsa will be the third speaker for Northeastern State Universitys Science and Technology Seminar Series onWednesday, Oct. 21.
She will be presenting her lecture, Neuroimaging in Anxiety and Mood Disorders: Clinical Implications. Much of her research focuses on the connection between anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and through this presentation, aims to inform the audience on how to better understand anxiety and PTSD using neurocognitive methods.
Aupperle's research interests particularly include the crossover between cognitive and emotional processing and neuroscientific research as they pertain to maintenance and treatment of anxiety and PTSD.
The Science & Technology Seminar Series is arranged by Dr. John de Banzie, professor of biology at NSU. There is no charge for the seminars and they are open to all who wish to attend.
