Since leaving NSU, Saiki has garnered attention as a performer at new music festivals and as the organizer and promoter of the Contemporary Insights Concert Series in New York City.

Dr. Ronald Chioldi, director of the Community Music Academy, described Saiki as a wonderful student, who continues to make NSU proud.

The concert she is playing should be fun and very different than the average classical music recital because Michiko is performing pieces that are very new and quite unique. I am just so pleased that an alumna can be here for Homecoming to do what she loves to do."

The concert begins at7 p.m., is free of charge and open to students and the community to attend.
