NSU Science & Technology Seminar Series continues Nov. 4

(Tahlequah, Okla.)-- Dr. Marlis Douglas from the University of Arkansas Department of Biological Sciences will be the fourth speaker for Northeastern State Universitys Science and Technology Seminar Series onWednesday, Nov. 4.

She will be presenting her lecture, From Molecules to Landscapes: Biodiversity Conservation in a Changing World.

Douglas' research focuses on conservation and management of biodiversity. She works to understand diversification of species, assemblages or communities within a landscape perspective and how this knowledge can be translated into real-world applications.

The Science & Technology Seminar Series is arranged by Dr. John de Banzie, professor of biology. There is no charge for the seminars and they are open to all who wish to attend.
