NSU Science & Technology Seminar Series concludes Nov. 18

Tahlequah, Okla.)-- Jason Bried from the Oklahoma State Universitys Department of Integrative Biology will be the final speaker for Northeastern State Universitys Science and Technology Seminar Series on Wednesday, Nov. 18.

He will be presenting his lecture, Ecological Residency State Influences Community Analysis and Applications. His main research areas include insect conservation, applied odonatology, wetland assessment and classification, sampling and analysis issues, floristic quality assessment, restoration monitoring and community ecology.

Bried currently works as a research assistant where his main focus is on defining reference wetlands throughout Oklahoma. Through this research, he is studying how odonatology may be used to advance wetland conservation.

The Science & Technology Seminar Series is arranged by Dr. John de Banzie, professor of biology. There is no charge for the seminars and they are open to all who wish to attend.
