NSU listed in Mosaic Top 25 by the Tulsa Chamber of Commerce

TAHLEQUAH, Okla. -- Northeastern State University was recently honored for the third year in a row, for its efforts to promote inclusion and diversity by Mosaic, the Tulsa Regional Chambers diversity business council. Mosaic named NSU as one of the top 25 organizations with an inclusive workplace culture in the region. The forum was held at The Gilcrease Museum in Tulsa, Okla. in late October. Dr. Eloy A. Chavez, Dean of the College of Extended Learning, accepted the award on behalf of the university.

Northeastern State University works to promote best practices of inclusiveness through each aspect of our mission to be the change, Chavez explained. From programming and outreach efforts to day-to-day activitiesthis award is a true testament to NSUs commitment to support and practice diversity and inclusion on our campuses.

Businesses receiving the award have gone above and beyond to support diversity. The most inclusive workplace environments were selected based on recipients survey responses to five key factors: CEO commitment, supplier diversity, internal policies, diverse people and public outreach and awareness.
