Premium seating is now available in Northeastern State Universitys Doc Wadley Stadium. A new section containing 480 new chair-back seats is available for season ticket purchase beginning August 10.
We had many fans comment about the possibility of a reserved seating section in the stadium, so we decided to add both to the aesthetic quality of the stadium and to the comfort of the fans, said Scott Pettus, NSU Assistant Director of Athletics. The seats are very comfortable, and there are a lot of perks that come with the season tickets.
The benefits of owning a season ticket in the new reserved seating section include a free program at each game, concession coupons and access to other extras throughout the season, said Pettus.
Athletics industry executives have personally told me this is the best deal in America for seats of this quality, said Jeff Konya, NSU Athletics Director. By way of comparison, one Oklahoma university home football ticket costs $150, plus $25 for parking. At Northeastern State, you can get six high-quality Division II games for 60 percent of that cost.
A list of prices, benefits and purchasing instructions is available online at goriverhawksgo.com. Advanced sales of the limited reserved seating season tickets runs August 10, 17 and 20 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Doc Wadley Stadium, or tickets can be ordered simply by calling 918-444-3901.
This section contains the best seats in the house and we want to remind everyone that availability is limited and that they are first-come, first-serve, said Pettus.
