Prospective students and their families have an opportunity to take an in-depth look at Northeastern State University on Oct. 10.

Riverhawk Rally is an all-day recruiting event introducing high school and transfer students to the NSU community while showing them the value of attending NSU.

RiverHawk Rally is an opportunity for prospective students to visit and tour our campus and receive valuable information about our academic programs from our outstanding faculty, Jason Jessie, NSU director of High School and College Relations said.

Rally participants receive information about applying for admission, scholarships and financial aid while mingling with faculty, staff and current students.

With RiverHawk Rally, we hope to get prospective students excited about the possibility of attending NSU," Jessie said. "We hope that theyll meet our friendly faculty, staff and students and make a connection with NSU.

The rally begins with registration in Jack Dobbins Field House from 2:30-3:30 p.m. Afterward, groups will tour the campus before meeting with faculty, staff and students. Advisors from a spectrum of NSU departments will be present to discuss all facets of attending NSU.

The day concludes with a complimentary meal during the RiverHawk tailgate party. All rally participants are admittedFREE into NSUs 7 p.m. football game against Southwestern Oklahoma State.

As always, we'd love to have more students than last year. Last year over 350 prospective students attend which was our largest RiverHawk Rally ever, Jessie said, Its a great chance to see NSU.
