TCC Transfer Students Win Door Prizes at NSU Nite

BROKEN ARROW Several students transferring from Tulsa Community College to Northeastern State University received more than just assistance in enrolling for classes, securing financial aid and learning about educational programs during NSU Nite on the Broken Arrow campus. Four future NSU students also walked away with door prizes to help them pay for college.

Micah Garvin, of Sand Springs, and James Travis Miller, of Tulsa, each received $500 tuition waivers; Jenks High School graduated Chris McDaniel, of Tulsa, received a semesters worth of free books; and Lori A. Taylor, of Skiatook, received $100 in meal points from Sodexho to use at any campus dining facility.

NSU Nite was an informational program hosted by the university at the Broken Arrow campus to provide interested people from the Greater Tulsa Area the opportunity to learn about programs and services offered by NSU.
