NSUBA Hosts NSU Faculty Art Show

TAHLEQUAH - Northeastern State University's College of Liberal Arts is hosting the second installment of its annual faculty art show at the Broken Arrow campus of the university. The faculty art show is already an annual tradition on the Tahlequah campus and the planners of the event are proud to announce its second year at the newer campus.

"We hope to make this an annual event at the Broken Arrow campus. We'd like to offer more exhibitions in the future, especially because we'll be offering more classes there in the future," said Bobby Martin, assistant professor of art.

Featuring pieces from professors of both campuses, the art show offers talented faculty a chance to stretch personally and technically.

"This show gives the faculty a chance to show the pieces they've been working on. It gives the faculty a chance to continue working as professional artists," said Martin.

The show will be held in the Visitors Center Gallery in the central building of the Broken Arrow campus, which will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. each day. Tthose wishing to view the show can come at any time. The show has already opened and runs through March 25.
