Wyly Hall Wins Extreme Housing Makeover Contest

Wyly Hall Wins Extreme Housing Makeover Contest

TAHLEQUAH Northeastern State University students living in Wyly Hall will find a major change in their residence hall when they return to campus in January. The students of Wyly Hall are the winners of Extreme Housing Makeover, a contest to completely remodel a common area in one of NSUs residence halls.

Wyly Hall, home of the NSU Honors Program students, will receive a remodel to the first floor lounge to create a theater and gamer lounge. Students earned points throughout the fall semester by attending University Housing events and making a video about why their hall deserved the makeover.

Demolition on the current area began Friday, Dec. 19. The weeklong Extreme Housing Makeover begins Monday, Jan. 12. A live webcam will show the makeover progress.
