NSU To Hold Fourth-Annual Freshmen Convocation
TAHLEQUAH, OK Northeastern State University will hold its fourth-annual Freshmen Convocation on August 18 at 4 p.m. in the Center for Performing Arts on the Tahlequah campus. Incoming freshmen and their families can listen to music, visit the Welcome Week table, and meet faculty and administration. Following Convocation, a barbeque dinner will be available for purchase with meal points or cash at the Market Caf in the University Center. Dress is casual.
Convocation is a special time for Northeastern State University freshmen, said NSU Dean of Enrollment/Registrar, Bill Nowlin. Its a time when family, friends, faculty, and staff officially welcome the newest class of freshmen to the NSU family and the start of their collegiate career.
Northeastern State University is prepared to welcome its largest freshmen class in 2002. This is the third time in the last four years that the University has announced record-breaking freshmen numbers.
