Work & Health in Sweden Topic of NSU Guest International Speaker
TAHLEQUAH The Northeastern State University International Speakers Committee proudly announces an upcoming lecture by Berit Ydreborg, R.N. A Ph.D. candidate in Public Health, Ydreborg will be presenting her research titled Work and Health in Sweden on March 6 in the University Center Ballroom Lounge from 12:30 to 2 p.m.
Ydreborg, with more than 25 years experience in the Swedish Public Health Department, will present her research on the differences in perceived work environment and health among Swedish employees with special emphasis on socioeconomic factors. Following the lecture, Ydreborg will be available for questions about Swedens health system.
Ydreborg is a cousin of retired Northeastern State University
professor Dr. Sara Nordholm Brown. Dr. Brown visited her in Sweden in
June of 2002. Ydrborg is coming to the United States after presenting
a paper on her research at a conference in Brazil.
