Dr. Sweeney serves as the Interim Assistant Vice-President for Academic Affairs. In her roles as the Assistant Dean and Assessment Director of the College of Education, she led the CAEP accreditation efforts. Dr. Sweeney has always had one foot in education and the other in biology, and has taught courses in general biology, botany, chemistry, assessment, research methods, and early childhood education. Her research interests include science with young children, early childhood education, and assessment.
