Bio

Dr. Lisa Bisogno is the Associate Dean of the College of Education at Northeastern State University and a Professor of Special Education. She serves as the CAEP Coordinator for NSUs College of Education, Treasurer for the Oklahoma Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (OACTE), and represents CAEP on the National Council for the Advancement of Educator Ethics (NCAEE).
She earned her bachelors and masters degrees in Exceptional Student Education from Florida State University and her Ph.D. in Leadership and Education from Barry University, where she received the 2021 Distinguished Alumni Award in Collaborative Service.
Dr. Bisogno taught students with disabilities for nearly a decade in Florida and Alabama, with expertise in Autism and teacher preparation. She is passionate about mentoring educators and advancing teacher education quality.
Actively involved in her community, she serves as President-Elect of the Rotary Club of Broken Arrow and is a dedicated PTA member.
