Bio

Dr. Bowin joined Northeastern State University in 2004 and is presently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology and Counseling. Her teaching interests are in Physiological Psychology, Introduction to Psychology, and animal behavior seminars. She also teaches the core classes for the Health Psychology minor. Her passions includes educating about the link between domestic violence and animal abuse and human and animal wellness.
Dr. Bowin is an animal welfare advocate. She is a member of several humane organizations and promotes animal health and wellbeing.
