Bio
Dr. Eloy A. Chavez is currently the Dean of the College of Extended Learning and Continuing Education at Northeastern State University. His College oversees degree completion, certificates and continuing education programs on all three campuses of NSU to include online domestic and international program offerings.Dr. Chavez graduated with his doctorate in Higher Education Administration from Oklahoma State University, his masters in Student Personnel from the University of South Carolina and his bachelors in Recreation from the University of New Mexico. He also gained a Certificate in Student Activities Management through National Association for Campus Activities and an Oklahoma teaching certification in Secondary Education. His experience stems from small private colleges to large research institutions where he has been a Program Coordinator, Assistant Director, Dean of Students and Dean of Continuing Education. He has participated with many civic clubs and organizations. He is currently a member of the Tulsa Regional Chamber Mosaic Board, Tulsa Chamber Education and Workforce taskforce One Voice and Workforce Tulsa Board for area Businesses and Industry.
