Bio
Jodi Legnon, Ph.D., has taught several education courses at Northeastern State University in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction since 2007. She currently teaches courses in the Early Childhood Program at NSU. Dr. Legnon earned her bachelors and masters degrees from NSU in Early Childhood and her Ph.D. from the University of Oklahoma in Instructional Leadership and Academic Curriculum. She has taught at a public school, a technology center, professional development courses, and university courses. She also served as a University Coordinator at OU. Her research focus is on preparing pre-service teachers to effectively include children with autism spectrum disorder in the general education classroom, as well as developmentally appropriate practices in early childhood classrooms, which includes developmental stages of children's development.Education:
