Bio
Dr. Carla Swearingen serves as the Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs and
Professor of Chemistry. In her role, she oversees the work of the Center for Teaching
and Learning, Research and Sponsored Programs, University Strategies courses, and
various faculty development and research initiatives. In addition, Dr. Swearingen
is an accredited coach through the International Coach Federation and certified in
the Birkman Method, Center for Creative Leadership 360 Assessment, and Immunity to
Change.
