Bio
I am an environmental scientist with a PhD in Environmental Resources and Policy from
Southern Illinois University Carbondale and a Master of Science in Geography from
South Dakota State University. My work integrates environmental science, natural resource
management, and advanced geospatial techniques to address complex sustainability challenges.
My research focuses on land use and land cover change, ecosystem services, biodiversity
conservation, and sustainability. I integrate spatial analysis, ecological modeling,
and geospatial technologies to understand environmental patterns and support sustainable
resource management
My teaching interests focus on spatial thinking, sustainability, and real-world applications.
I have taught courses such as World Regional Geography, Sustainability, Sustainable
Cities, Theory and Applications of GIS, Biodiversity and Climate Change, and American
Federal Government.
