Committee: NSU Online Advisory
Membership
Twelve to fifteen members composed of representatives from each of the colleges, and the library. Staff from the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) serve as non-voting ex officio members. Members may serve more than one term. The committee chair will be determined by a vote of the committee members at the first meeting of the fiscal year.
Function
This committee advises the Center for Teaching and Learning with a goal of fostering a culture of excellence in teaching and learning, including professional development opportunities, teaching resources, and strategies that promote best practices in teaching and assessment in face-to-face, blended, and online environments.
Meetings
The committee meets regularly at least twice a semester or as called by the Chair. Minutes are maintained by the Center for Teaching and Learning and sent to the Provost/Vice President for Academic Affairs.
