NSU is committed to assisting students in applying and earning scholarships. Whether you are an incoming freshman or a continuing/returning student, NSU has a wide variety of scholarship options for students to choose from.

Clubs and Organizations

From networking to leadership opportunities, NSU’s over 80 clubs and organizations allow our students to build lasting relationships while getting the full college experience.

Transfer Students

Whether you’re an incoming or current transfer student, NSU’s transfer advisors are available to assist you with transcript evaluation, information on degree programs and support services. NSU is where You Belong.

Graduate College

Whether transitioning to graduate school or returning to higher education, NSU’s graduate college is your next step. Choose from over 25 master's degrees and several certificate programs.

Committee: Athletics

Membership

Not to exceed 17 representatives, with efforts made to balance the number of faculty and staff membership, from various colleges and departments on campus including one non-athlete student appointed by the Northeastern Student Government Association (NSGA). Chaired by the Faculty Athletic Representative.

Function

The Athletic Committee facilitates the dissemination of information pertinent to interscholastic competition, requirements for student eligibility, and the availability of financial assistance for student athletes. The committee seeks input from both faculty and staff and supplies them with the latest information regarding student athletes, coaches, interscholastic competition, additions or deletions of sports programs, and promotional efforts of NSU Athletics. This committee reports to the Athletic Director and the President.

Meetings

The committee meets once each fall and spring semester. Minutes are sent to the Athletic Director and the President.
