BROKEN ARROW - A group of Broken Arrow North Intermediate High School students recently
completed a five-week training course in negotiations through Northeastern State University
Broken Arrow's Professional and Continuing Education Program.
NSUBA Instructor of Information Systems Ken Jones volunteered to teach the ninth-
and 10th-graders hands-on negotiation skills.
"Many of them were skilled at negotiations already," said Jones. "When you're that
age, you learn to negotiate with your parents and teachers. This class helped them
utilize those skills for the business world."
NSU alumnus Aaron Schultheis hosted the program during his Law classes at NIHS. Students
who completed all of the assignments received a certificate for completing the course.
