"A Country Christmas" Debuts at NSU

TAHLEQUAH Northeastern State University's Downtown Country will present the seventh annual "A Country Christmas" on Nov. 29 Dec. 1 at 7:30 p.m. at the NSU Playhouse(**canceled due to inclement weather**).The show will include country favorites as well as traditional and contemporary Christmas selections, and is suitable for all ages.

"Our show has become a Christmas tradition for many area residents who come year after year to share their holiday season with us, said Director Kelli Doolen Farmer.We always hear patrons say how much they love the show. With performers from Colcord, Eufaula, Fort Gibson, Hulbert, Keota, Oktaha, Poteau, Tahlequah, Muskogee and Wagoner, guests from all around should be able to see a familiar face on stage.We even have the reigning Miss NSU Kimberly Hurt in our cast!"

Downtown Country cast members include Kaileigh Bullard, Pattie Clay, Kelli Doolen Farmer, Shannon Farmer, Ashley Hammock, Joe Henderson, Alyson Howell, Kimberly Hurt, Hank Nichols, Jacob Oliver, Shannon Robbins, T.J. Spears, Jeremiah Stuart and Zach Swon.There will also be special guest artists performing nightly.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children, and may be purchased by calling the NSU Sequoyah Institute at 918-458-2075, or may be purchased at the door based upon availability.
