Ring in the Holiday Season With NSU

TAHLEQUAH Festive music, twinkling lights and Mrs. Claus are all part of the fun taking place at Northeastern State University during the holiday season.
A magical evening awaits on Tuesday, Dec. 5, at 5:30 p.m. during the annual Lights On ceremony at Seminary Hall. Join NSU President and First Lady Dr. Larry and Pam Williams for holiday music, Christmas music and plenty of festive entertainment.
Following the ceremony, join Tahlequah Main Street Association for the annual Downtown Stroll. Local merchants will remain open late and offer special discounts for shoppers. Strollers will also have a chance to take a sleigh ride.
The NSU music department will perform Handels Messiah on Tuesday, Dec. 5 at 8 p.m. at the NSU Center for Performing Arts. Tickets for the performance are $5 for students and $10 for adults. Funds go to support NSU music scholarships. For more information, call 456-5511 ext. 2700.
Join The Sequoyah Institute for a magical evening of Broadway and holiday music at Enchanted Christmas on Friday, Dec. 8, at 7:30 p.m. in the NSU Center for Performing Arts. The show features the musical talents of Lee Lessack, Joanne O'Brien, Brian Lane Green, and John Boswell. Tickets for the show are $20 for adults, $18 for NSU alumni, $16 for NSU employees, $14 for senior citizens, $10 for students and children, and $5 for NSU students.
