New Phone Exchange, Wifi Access Keep NSU Modernized

TAHLEQUAH Upgrades to technology at Northeastern State University are keeping the campuses modernized.
Wireless Internet access is now accessible in the University Center, John Vaughan Library, NET Building and Administration Building on the Tahlequah campus; and Building G and portions of Building A on the Broken Arrow campus. Plans are currently in place to retrofit other campus buildings to allow wireless access.
Anyone may access the Internet through the wireless network, but must have an NSU user ID to access the NSU network.
Dialing an extension at Northeastern State Universitys Tahlequah campus is now easier, thanks to a new phone exchange. Callers can now dial all NSU Tahlequah offices, colleges, departments and residential housing directly without going through the campus operator. Just dial 444 plus the four-digit campus extension. For example to call the NSU Bookstore, dial 918-444-2510.
NSU-Tahlequah Directory Assistance can still by reached by dialing 456-5511 or 444-5511.
