Northeastern Hosts American College Theatre Festival

TAHLEQUAH - Northeastern State University is hosting The Oklahoma II State American College Theatre Festival on Nov. 8-10.

This national theatre education program aims to identify and promote quality in college-level theatre production. Five colleges are attending the festival, including NSU. The performances that will be showcased include "P.C.D.U. and the Conquest for Capitalism" (NSU), "And They Dance Real Slow in Jackson" (St. Gregory's University), "Nickel and Dimed" (Rogers State), "A White Horse Christmas" (Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College), and "Hank the Cowdog, Lost in the Dark Unchanted Forest" (Grayson County College).

Productions entered the participating level are eligible for inclusion at the John F. Kennedy Center American College Theatre Regional Festival and can also be considered for invitation to the KCACTF National Festival in Washington, D.C. in the spring of 2007.
