TAHLEQUAH Mix a thrilling detective novel with bit of religious theology and youll discover the first book by author and Northeastern State University graduate Steven Hunt.

The NSU Bookstore will host a book signing with Hunt, author of Guardian of Light, on Saturday, Sept. 29 from 8:30-10 a.m.

The book centers on Private Investigator Theodore Chas Chasowski, who finds himself in a life-changing investigation when hired to locate a Guardian of Light, a mysterious being who has been saving strangers in life or death situations.

While placing his life on the line, Chas dangerously unveils information that could transform how the world thinks about the Bible. Unyielding in his determination, Chas sets out to prove the Good Samaritan is really Michael the Archangel, sent from God to be his Guardian of Light but a dark power emerges to stop Chas in his quest.

Hunt has penned a high-paced work of good versus evil, reminding readers, A Christian must be willing to do whatever God wants him or her to do.

Hunt is a 21-year veteran of law enforcement on the military, federal, state and municipal levels. He is currently a criminal investigator for a state of Oklahoma law enforcement agency.

Hunt graduated from NSU with a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice. He and his wife, Cynthia, live in Broken Arrow, where they are active members of New Life Center Assembly of God Churc
