Celebrate a Century of Excellence with NSU and RUSO

OKLAHOMA CITY Northeastern State University and the institutions under the Regional University System of Oklahoma Board of Regents are hosting a dinner to celebrate a century of excellence in higher education.

The Best of the Best Centennial Dinner and Celebration is set for Monday, April 30 at the Cox Convention Center in Oklahoma City. A special reception begins at 5:30 p.m. with the dinner following at 7 p.m.

"For more than 100 years, the Regional University System of Oklahoma has been dedicated to improving Oklahomas quality of life through the educational, cultural and economic development of our communities and we are excited about the significant role we will play in shaping our states second century", said Dr. Neal Weaver, vice president for University Relations.

This unique opportunity will give Oklahomans the opportunity to look back and recognize the many significant contributions of NSU, East Central University, Northwestern Oklahoma State University, Southeastern Oklahoma State University, Southwestern Oklahoma State University and the University of Central Oklahoma.

Kelly Doolen-Farmer and members of NSUs Downtown Country cast will provide entertainment on behalf of the university. Other RUSO institutions will also provide entertainment featuring their students. Tickets for the event are $40 and can be reserved by calling 1-888-858-8849 ext. 7575.
