ConocoPhillips Makes Donation To Support NSU

TAHLEQUAH Northeastern State University received a boost of support from one of Oklahomas leading oil producers this week.
ConocoPhillips donated $2,000 to the NSU Foundation to support programs in the College of Business and Technology at a presentation on Thursday morning. This is the second year in a row that ConocoPhillips has provided support for the college.
We try to make contributions to universitiss to keep their programs growing to meet the needs of todays business world, said Kirk Greer, supervisor of Production, Revenue and Regulartor Gulf Coast for ConocoPhillips and an 82 NSU alum.
Were proud to be representatives of such a great university, said Susan Anderson, supervisor of Invoice and Suspense Resolution in Wholesale Accounting for ConocoPhillips and a 79 NSU grad. It is wonderful to have an opportunity to give back to Northeastern where we both went to school.
The funds will be used to purchase Compustat, a financial database of Standard & Poors for use by faculty and students in the College of Business and Technology.
With the help of corporate partners, such as ConocoPhillips, we are able to offer the most complete accounting and finance programs in the region, said Dr. John Schleede, dean of the College of Business and Technology.
