NSU Summer Series Offers Special Discount

TAHLEQUAH The Stars in the Summer Series is going green for Northeastern State University students, faculty, staff, and alumni this weekend.

In celebration of Opening Weekend for Downtown Country and River City Players, ticket prices for NSU students, faculty, staff, and alumni are only $5. That's more than 50 percent off the regular ticket price.

Those connected to NSU who bring their friends and family to the show will also get the discount on any of the eight performances from Thursday, June 14 to Saturday, June 16.

Downtown Country will present "Chart Toppin' Country" Thursday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and "Celebrate Oklahoma" on Friday at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday at 2 p.m. at the University Playhouse.

River City Players will present "Rockin' Across the USA!" on Thursday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and "Old Time Rock 'N Roll" on Friday at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Shawnee Street Theatre.
