Guest Speaker Gives Presentation On Global Supply Chain

BROKEN ARROW The Northeastern State University-Broken Arrow College of Business and Technology hosted a one-hour symposium on global supply chain management with guest speaker Thomas Eibner on Wednesday, Sept. 12.

Eibner directs the Order and Material Management at Siemens Energy and Automation Power Conversion Division in Norwood, Ohio. Eibner came to the United States from Germany (Siemens AG) to successfully implement SAP (Enterprise Resource Planning software) as a part of the supply chain objectives for Siemens USA, and he will return to Germany within the year. He is rated as a power user of SAP solutions and has been instrumental in bringing about lean manufacturing solutions to his firm and its customers around the globe.

The presentation was broadcast as a videoconference to the NSU-Tahlequah campus. Eibners presentation was provided though the courtesy of Siemens and Coy Hays of Tulsa, a Siemens agent for this region of the U.S.
