Join NSU For Family Weekend

TAHLEQUAH This weekend is all about family at Northeastern State University.

The families of NSU students are invited to campus for Family Weekend 2007, set for April 13-15. The weekend highlights the importance of family support to the success of the university and its students.

The highlight of the weekend is the Flip-Flop Festival, starting at 11 a.m. in the parking lot at Gable Field. Free food, tailgating, music, inflatables and student performances will highlight the festival, prior to the kick off of the annual Green and White football game at 2:30 p.m. At intermission of the game, the university will announce the 2007 NSU Family of the Year.

A number of other activities are planned for the weekend, including a womens softball game, Greek Week Talent Show, and the NSU Theatres performance of Red Noses.
