TAHLEQUAH Have you ever ridden on a subway, a ferry, or a double-decker bus?Have you driven under a river? Have you been in a city that has only one backyard? Would you like to be chosen as an audience participant on Good Morning America?Would you like to see where they drop the ball on New Years Eve? Would you like to shop for clothes and not pay any sales tax? Would you like to say Ive been there when watching movies or television?Would you like one hour of college credit?

Dr. Celia Stall-Meadows is organizing her fourth cultural tour to New York City, set for May 26-30. The group will tour important landmarks in The Big Apple, including Grand Central Station, the Empire State Building rooftop, the Statue of Liberty on Liberty Island, and the Ellis Island immigration museum, accessible by a fun ferry ride. Also included in the tours are optional visits to museums: The Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Museum of Modern Art, or the American Museum of Natural History (think Ben Stiller and Night at the Museum).

The group can take a relaxing cruise around Manhattan Island to see the city lights and the Statue of Liberty from a different perspective. Other exciting stops areTimes Square, Central Park, China Town, SoHo, Little Italy, Rockefeller Center, and shopping on 7th Avenue (Fashion Avenue). A Broadway play is a must-see while visiting New York.

The exciting and awe-inspiring trip to the largest city in the nation is a life-changing experience.The estimated cost is $900, which covers airfare, transportation to and from the hotel, ferry rides to nearby islands,a City Pass to visit many of the tourist sites and museums, hotel accommodations and a meal allotment.
